Up and coming alternative country band, 'Black Bart' certainly made a big impression as headliners at Conrad Barr's Solid Air night at the Green Room on Monday night.
The rhythm section seemed considerably tighter since the last time I saw them and the rich sounding lead guitar and plaintive lead vocals penetrated in excellent style.
Anybody who's into Bob Dylan, The Band or even The Waterboys couldn't fail to see where this band is coming from. Brilliant !!!
Good news for live music fans.
As from Saturday, 2nd December 2006 there will be live bands playing in the downstairs main bar at The Central in Lower Parkstone every Saturday night.
The proceedings kick off on the this Saturday with the one and only 'Total Recall'.
Be there to witness their stonking versions of 'Revolution' (Beatles), Maggie May (Rod Stewart) and dozens of other 60's classics.
The Unplugged Clams - last sited at the Green Room on 24th July - excellent songs -
excellent cosmic bass tone.
Poole based band, Peachy Jane are looking for a drummer, who lives in the Poole/Bournemouth area.
Must have own car.
Music:alternative commercial pop.
