ABOUT THE BAND | GIG-GUIDE | ||
Highly popular britpop/60's band, Total Recall, collapsed in a heap at the end of 2009 due to the disappearence of main man and singer, Ted.
As a result of throat problems and general disillusion with the state of the planet, Ted finally decided to call it a day singing-wise.
The three remaining members of the band, Larry, Mick & Roj, thought the band was doomed.
As Jim Morrison once said, 'the future's uncertain and the end is always near'.
But contrary to everyone's fears, it appears that there may be light at the end of the tunnel........
.........And sure enough, there was light at the end of the tunnel, all be it for a brief moment. On the afternoon of 20th March 2011, Total Recall reassembled themselves to do a special gig at the Lord Nelson, Poole Quay. This gig was special in that it was a celebration of lead guitarist, Larry's ???nd birthday. We regret that for legal reasons we are not able to divulge Larry's exact age at this time. Anyway, a fabulous time was had by all - band and audience alike. The Birthday song was sung. The Birthday cake, complete with many candles was cut, eaten and enjoyed. To clarify that last point, the cake was eaten, whereas the candles were extinguished in the traditional manner. To view pictures of the gig, please click here
